LEV
During my internship at Ali Rose Mann Digital, a social media marketing agency, I had the opportunity to work directly with one of their clients, Lev. Lev is a social, map-based app designed for dog owners in NYC, helping them discover dog-friendly parks, restaurants, cafes, and services, track their walks, and connect with the local dog community.
My role involved designing and managing Instagram and TikTok content that blended playful visuals with useful information. Using Lev’s bright, friendly branding, I created a range of content that encouraged shares, app downloads, and local exploration.
Static Content Creation
Shareable Content
I designed a series of light-hearted, shareable memes that used trending humor and relatable dog-owner moments to boost engagement. These posts often had a subtle nod to Lev’s features without ever feeling promotional. The goal was to make followers laugh, tag a friend, and connect emotionally with the brand, even if they hadn’t downloaded the app yet.
Carousel Series
To encourage swiping and saves, I created multi-slide carousels that leaned into pop culture, astrology, and New York lifestyle humor. Each series was created around a fun theme like “NYC Neighborhoods as Dog Breeds,” “Your Dog as Your Horoscope,” or “Dogs as the Friends Cast.” These carousels allowed me to blend custom illustrations, dog imagery, and clever captions in a format that was visually consistent and easy to share.
Feature Spotlights
These posts were designed to feel like mini travel guides for NYC dog owners, highlighting specific dog-friendly restaurants, cafes, parks, or services within a neighborhood. I used clean layouts, curated imagery, and on-brand colors to make these posts both informative and visually inviting. Each spotlight subtly promoted a key app feature to encourage users to check out the location on Lev.
Video Content
In addition to static content, I created short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok that brought Lev’s brand and features to life. These videos fell into two main categories: relatable humor and feature-driven content. For the fun, shareable videos, I used trending sounds and filmed real dogs to capture playful moments that dog owners would instantly connect with. These helped make the brand feel more personal and community-focused. On the more informative side, I created videos that highlighted what the app could do, like finding dog-friendly restaurants or exploring new parks, while keeping the tone light, engaging, and visually on-brand. Whether educational or entertaining, each video was designed to grab attention, deliver value, and reflect Lev’s upbeat, dog-loving personality.
