Get Out The Vote Poster

As part of AIGA’s Get Out the Vote initiative, I created a poster that merges graphic design with civic impact. My piece draws inspiration from newspaper and magazine layouts, using black-and-white imagery and type to evoke a sense of urgency, history, and reflection. The word “VOTE” is boldly scattered across the page, surrounded by smaller text from the U.S. Constitution, paired with larger words and phrases like “FUTURE,” “RIGHT,” “VOICE,” and “FIRST TUESDAY.” This layered typographic approach was meant to highlight how voting connects our past to our present and future.

Awards

My poster was selected as one of six winners across two full class sections, recognized by faculty from Elon University’s School of Communications for its originality and strong conceptual development. This piece reflects my ability to blend research, analog design, and meaningful messaging into a striking visual experience.
